Abraham Lincoln My services are covered in part by many insurance plans and it is extremely important to clarify what your particular plan covers so that there are no surprises later. Call the customer service phone number on the back of your insurance card to learn about your coverage. The question you want to pose is: What are my outpatient mental or behavioral health benefits? My billing service and I can also help with nailing this down. Sometimes we know something the Plan contact doesn’t! I outsource my billing to KJO Billing Service @ 866-739-8051 (toll free). Submitting your insurance claims for you is a service of my practice and you are ultimately responsible for the costs of your care not reimbursed by your health plan. You do have the option of submitting your own claims. You are expected to pay your portion of the fee at each session by check or cash. You are also obligated to sign over any insurance checks that come to you, instead of me, in a timely manner. Cancelled appointments are disruptive to my schedule and highly discouraged. If you must cancel an appointment, you are required to give a minimum of 24 hours notice or you will be charged for the appointment. I want to be sensitive to those clients who really need an appointment and would use a session that opens up.
